The children of Chariho deserve access to a quality education. It is imperative to all community members that the Chariho Regional School District maintain its status as a well-managed and successful organization. The schools of Chariho prioritize students and provide opportunities to a diverse set of learning needs and goals, while also providing secure employment for many in the region.Strong schools add value to our community.

"I went to Chariho MS and graduated from the high school. Now I teach in the district at Charlestown Elementary. I love our Chariho Community and I am proud of the work that has been done to get Chariho where it is today. We have come a long way and should continue to grow and improve. It is a great school district, not without some troubles, but overall it's successful."

INVEST in KIDS

Let's work together to keep Chariho successful! We believe that funding public education requires dedication, collaboration, and investment from local, state, and national communities. The students of Chariho are our top priority.

protect education

It is more important than ever that we stand up to protect public education. The children in Chariho deserve the best schools we can offer. We need to provide a high standard of education to a diverse set of learners while asserting the value of the teaching profession and the support staff in our district.

"The teaching staff is great and the camaraderie between the students and staff is awesome!!"

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS

"Educating the children of our community is the most important thing a town does. They are the future of not just our towns but the world. We need to give ALL students the skills and tools they need to be successful in whatever path they choose after high school. Yes, that's expensive, but it's an investment in the most important asset we have as a community of people. An investment that not only benefits the students but the community and world we all live in."

Education provides a lifetime of positive benefits. We invest in students today and the future through our shared support of the public school ecosystem.

"Education is a basic need and a basic right, and therefore a basic function of government. And our future depends on dependable and excellent education. I have children in the Chariho school system. I have practiced child education in a private sector setting. My mother, grandmother, and several other family members are public school educators, so I support public education in general.
